Im wanting a new swimbait combo. Whats the max drag on it? Im a trophy striper hunter and need around 30 lbs drag. I usually throwing huge hudds and deps 250s. Id consider one with a single power handle, if it has no less than 25 lbs max drag

Big browns are piscivores... fish eaters... Most people will no matter what they're fishing for... simply throw too small of the bait constantly for the big fish if they want to try to always go out on the water and attempt to catch. I bet they would hit a little baby duck lure fished on top also...

Got this reel on a garage sale. Pretty much in bad shape and some missing pieces. Regardless I bought it, it had a decent price, it came with the rod in combo. Although, getting the missing parts is a pain in the ass.... Turns out Shimano discontinues spare parts for it's models...

The ROF 0 can be fished like a BBZ1 8” floater waking very slowly. Rigged Butch style they power suck the bait and it rolls the hook right in their mouth.

Is a parobolic rod with braid still a thing or is this before Fluoro became popular? I would thing you would want a little stretch with that parobolic as well as sinking line? Is that wrong thinking just curious. ?

This is a rig that has proven itself over time to some really good sticks I have met. Not a fish killer. Only issue I have is back tail getting caught on back treble even when snugged during casts.

I know this is a old video but I recently met this man at his place here on lake fork where we live and he still has enthusiasm like this. I purchased a few of the soft plastic baits he makes and have caught 4 fish so far that are pushing 10lbs. His baits are great and he is a very nice guy........gave me some good advice on fishing his baits and it has paid off........Thanks Mickey
